Mother Nature’s tears fall in torrents
Her sorrow shows in the blackest sky
Father Time has passed from this life today
And she’s mourning like she herself may die
The melancholy sound of her tears
Fall in a heavy, bitter-sweet rain
Her cries echo chillingly around me
As the thunder relates to her pain
The lightning mirrors her anger
Striking the earth here and there
Wrecking havoc and starting fires
She’s lost her mind and doesn’t care
Time is spinning wildly out of control
Racing on, then sulkily makes its way
And then suddenly it gives up and stops
The earth is slowly turning a deep gray
Someone please tell Mother Nature
That the Sun and Moon need to shine
Before the very beauty she has made
Passes away quickly, like Father time
