Leaves of red, gold, green and brown
Swirl around this tiny country town
Leaving me with this contagious joy
Like a child at Christmas with a toy
My heart leaps with a resounding thud
My feet dance through puddles of mud
I’m no longer contending with the wind
My eye’s light aglow, no longer dimmed
See the stars shine like diamonds above
Feel the Saviors unfailing priceless love
Watch the snow, like glitter falling down
Wonder what Heavens plan for me is now
